Recent Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis Review: "I travel frequently and on any given week I can be staying in up to as many as four hotels. The service at The Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis is the best I have experienced anywhere in the world - blows away the service at most 5 Stars. This staff is absolutely exceptional. You name it - the concierge, guest services, housekeeping, the man who gives  you your towel when you use the sauna, the servers in the cafe, even hotel security is pleasant. I don't know when, if ever, I have seen so many pleasant people working in one place in my life! Recommended for this reason alone. But there are other reasons to stay here too - like great food, magnificent views of the Nile, and the location for getting to places like The Egyptian Museum, The Opera House, the Metro (Coptic Cairo in about 10 minutes) or the wonderful madness of downtown - a short walk, In other, the rooms are classically opulent - so you won't get the modern design you find in many newer 5 stars. Still, the furnishings are of high-quality, and the beds and sheets are great. Stay here! Highly Recommended!"
